Whether you're a recent college graduate trying to find a task, an experienced employee wanting a profession change, a justice involved specific returning into the labor force, a veteran returning to civilian life, a senior 55 or older wanting to upgrade work abilities, a migrant farm employee, a youth ─ your American Job Centers use services for a vast array of circumstances to help meet your employment requires. We offer open door to the resource spaces that include computer systems and Internet, telephones, and facsimile machine. Also, job hunters can go to on-site recruiting events, workshops on resumé writing, interviewing skills, and job search activities, or pursue more intensive training or certifications for professions that are in demand. All 95 Tennessee counties are served by an American Job Center with certified personnel and open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our Job Centers are grouped by locations called LWDAs (Local Workforce Development Areas).

Locate an American Job Center in Your Neighborhood

Tennessee has a network of centers across the state, concurrently servicing both companies and job applicants alike. Companies discover perfect employees while candidates get essential profession details and services.

Each American Job Center provides digital labor market information, complimentary Internet access, workshops, job positioning, recruitment, training, and help with Jobs4TN.gov to discover talent or search tasks. Stop by your regional center to get going today!

Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDAs)

LWDAs are area clusters of counties whose labor market and other employment-related aspects are comparable. This means each location provides workforce development and profession services based upon regional needs. LWDAs are affiliate, or partners who assist run and administer programs and services as directed from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) at all of the local task centers throughout the state.
